The challenge
From a site to an operating plant.
Establishing a greenfield manufacturing operation involves more than a building. Land, utilities, construction, equipment, logistics and people all need to come together as one working system.
My responsibility
Connecting the decisions.
My work covered the development of the plant, from site decisions and construction through equipment installation and the transition into production. This depended on coordinated work with colleagues, contractors, partners and local stakeholders.
The execution
Build the operation around the work.
The project brought engineering and business responsibilities together: preparing the site, coordinating the build, installing production equipment and developing the organisation needed to run it.
What followed
A foundation for the next chapter.
The Hungary operation added another manufacturing location to the European business, building on experience from Poland and collaboration with local teams and partners.
